MALE ALL WHITE MALLARD, LASALLE PARK/MARINA, BURLINGTON, ONTARIO, 11/4/2024

In addition to their normal plumage, Mallards can be all white and even all black.  We can tell it's a male Mallard by the curled feathers on its back, above the tail. It is called a drake curl, because female Mallards do not have these curled feathers.  Also, only Mallards and it domestic descendents have those.
