   In the photo you can see the white speculum, which helps to ID this duck as a Gadwall.

FEMALE GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET, ASHBRIDGE'S BAY PARK, TORONTO, ONTARIO, 9/27/2024

   If you look closely at the crown you can see part of the yellow crown stripe.  This indicates the kinglet is a female.  The male has an orange stripe.  Most online photos of a Golden-crowned Kinglet show gray underparts, but I have found a number of photos that show a mixture of gray and yellow, such as this bird has.
