NONBREEDING ADULT RING-BILLED GULL & RING-BILLED GULL MOLTING FROM JUVENILE TO 1ST WINTER PLUMAGE, CRANBERRY MARSH, LYNDE SHORES CONSERVATION AREA, HALLS RD S, WHITBY, ONTARIO, 8/30/2024
The first photo shows an adult Ring-billed Gull in nonbreeding plumage. The second photo shows a Ring-billed Gull that is molting from juvenile to 1st winter plumage. This generally occurs in the August-September time frame.
