MALE BARBADOS BULLFINCHES, ANDROMEDA BOTANICAL GARDEN, BATHSHEBA, ST JOSEPH, BARBADOS, 3/15/2024 - NEW SPECIES TO LIFE LIST

   We can ID this bird as a Barbados Bullfinch as follows:
  • Dark brown crown, face and upperparts
  • Chestnut on wings
  • Dark bill - this indicates the bullfinch is a male; the female has a pale, horn-colored bill.
  • Gray underparts
   The Barbados Bullfinch is endemic to Barbados.

   The Barbados Bullfinch is a new species to our ebird Photographic Life List.  Our ebird Life List now stands at 1,127.
