ADULT LAUGHING GULLS IN BREEDING & NONBREEDING PLUMAGE, JN DING DARLING NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, SANIBEL, FLORIDA, 3/4/2024

   The first two photos show an adult Laughing Gull in breeding plumage, although the bill has not yet turned red.  The last two photos show a Laughing Gull in nonbreeding plumage.  March is generally the month when they molt from nonbreeding to breeding plumage.
