   We can see the following birds at the feeders or on the ground at the feeders:
  • Numerous Brown-headed Cowbirds
  • Many Common Grackles
  • Many Red-winged Blackbirds
  • Several Nanday Parakeets
  • Several Common Ground Doves
  • A Northern Cardinal
  • A Boat-tailed Grackle

NANDAY PARAKEETS (BLACK-HOODED PARAKEETS),BROWN-HEADED COWBIRDS & A COMMON GRACKLE ON TREE, CELERY FIELDS, PALMER BLVD, SARASOTA, FLORIDA, 2/9/2022

   When the Nanday Parakeets arrived at this tree many of the Brown-headed Cowbirds flew away, but not all.  The Common Grackle is in the ninth photo just above the Nanday Parakeet.
