1ST YEAR MALE BULLOCK'S ORIOLE, PALM ST & GEORGETOWN BLVD,EAST NAPLES,FLORIDA, 4/6/2021

  We can ID this Oriole as a 1st year male Bullock's Oriole as follows:
  • Yellowish head,neck and breasts with black throat
  • More whitish belly
  • Black eyeline
  • Orangish auriculars
  • The adult Bullock's Oriole has more orange underparts and face and has a black crown, in addition to the black throat.
   Bullock's Orioles are native to western North America, so this bird is a vagrant to this area.  The Bullock's Oriole is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 1,003.
