BARN SWALLOWS AT MUD PUDDLE COLLECTING MUD & GRASS FOR NEST BUILDING, COLONEL SAMUEL SMITH PARK,ETOBICOKE,TORONTO,ONTARIO, 5/31/2020
The Barn Swallows at this mud puddle are collecting grass and mud for nest buiding. They often mix the mud and grass stems to make mud pellets for their nest.
The Barn Swallows at this mud puddle are a mixture of male and female birds. In general the female Barn Swallows are whiter below than the males.
