Most Common Grackles have dark or brownish tail feathers.  This Common Grackle has white tail feathers.  This is due to a condition called leucism, in which their is uneven distribution of melanin in the feathers and body, resulting in pale-looking birds or birds with patches of white.  In this particular leucistic Common Grackle the tail is white.
