MALE RED-CRESTED POCHARD, TAMARAC EXOTIC DUCK POND,LAUDERHILL,FLORIDA, 12/29/2019

Since this Red-crested Pochard is an exotic release, I have not included it in my Life List, but it was great seeing and photographing it.  It breeds in southern Europe and Central Asia and winter's in the Indian subcontinent and Africa.
The photograph was taken at a great distance with my Nikon P1000 superzoom camera at its maximum optical zoom of 3,000 mm.  It was then cropped, enlarged and slightly edited.

ROOSTS OF WHITE IBISES & DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS PLUS OTHER SPECIES, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK,NAPLES,FLORIDA, 12/26/2019

These photos of the roosts  are in the order taken, from about 1 1/4 hour before sunset to about 1/4 hour before sunset.    You can see birds flying into the roosts.  In addition to White Ibises (white birds mostly on the right) and Double-crested Cormorants (dark birds mostly on left) there may be other species.  In one of the photos I believe I can make out an Anhinga.
