CINNAMON HUMMINGBIRD AT FEEDER, RIO LAGARTOS BIOSPHERE RESERVE,YUCATAN,MEXICO, 11/3/2018
Even though the lighting was not good and many colors didn't come out, we can still ID this hummingbird as a Cinnamon Hummingbird as follows:
- Slightly downcurved red bill with black tip
- Cinnamon underparts
- Dark wings
- Rufous tail with dark tip
The Cinnamon Hummingbird is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 810.
FEMALE MEXICAN SHEARTAIL, RIO LAGARTOS BIOSPHERE RESERVE,YUCATAN,MEXICO, 11/3/2018
We can ID this hummingbird as a female Mexican Sheartail as follows:
- Long, downward curved, black bill
- Greenish crown, face and nape
- Whitish underparts with greenish flanks
- White tip on tail
The Mexican Sheartail is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 808.
