We can ID this bird as a Common Raven rather then an American Crow by its size (24" vs 17.5") and by its shaggy throat (you can see this in the first photo).

A group of Canada Geese on the ground is called a gaggle; when in flight they are called a skein, a team or a wedge; when flying close together they are called a plump.

MALE BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD, HALLS ROAD NORTH,WHITBY,ON, 10/9/18
The bird in front is the male Brown-headed Cowbird. The other two birds in back of it we could not ID.
