CANADA GOOSE & CHICKS ON ROCK IN MIDDLE OF RAPIDS, NIAGARA RIVER, NIAGARA FALLS, ON, 5/8/18

   We thought this was somewhat of an iconic scene - an adult Canada Goose on a large rock in the middle of the rapids on the Niagara River with four chicks (as far as we could see). This was not far from the falls themselves.  The goose must of given birth on the rock, as the chicks can't fly.

   The first four photos show a male Hooded Merganser. The fifth and sixth photos show female Hooded Mergansers.  The last three photos show both male and female mergansers.
