EASTERN ROSELLA, AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND
We can ID this bird as an Eastern Rosella by its red head, neck and breast; white cheek patch; blue shoulders; yellow underparts and black spotted yellow-green upperparts.
The Eastern Rosella is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 715.
SONG THRUSH, AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, 10/25/2017
We can ID this bird as a Song Thrush by its dark-spotted yellow-buff underparts which becomes paler on the belly, plain grey-brown head and upperparts and pink legs.
The Song Thrush is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 714.
