BROWN HONEYEATER, GRANITE GORGE NATURE PARK, ATHERTON TABLELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

    We can ID this bird as a Brown Honeyeater by its small yellow patch behind eye, yellow gape, downcurved bill, brownish-grey head  and pale grey below.
   The Brown Honeyeater is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 694.

SQUATTER PIGEON, GRANITE GORGE NATURE PARK, ATHERTON TABLELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

   We can ID this pigeon as a Squatter Pigeon by its predominantly grey-brown color, conspicuous black and white stripes on face and throat and white flank.
   The Squatter Pigeon is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 693.





TREE MARTINS, GRANITE GORGE NATURE PARK, ATHERTON TABLELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA


   We can ID this swallow as a Tree Martin by its iridescent blue back, back of neck and shoulders; brownish wings and tail; forked tail; whitish underparts and whitish rump.
   The Tree Martin is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 692.
