GALAH, BEACH AREA,LORNE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA
We can ID this cuckatoo as a Galah by its grey back, grey rump, pink face and chest, pink mobile crest and a carunculated (fleshy naked outgrowth) eye-ring. The Galah with the red iris is a female and with the dark iris is a male.
The Galah is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 643.

We can ID this parrot as a Crimson Rosella by its predominantly red coloration, blue cheek, black-scalloped blue-margind wings and predominantly blue tail. This parrot is one of the seven subspecies of the Crimson Rosella,

We can ID this parrot as a female Australian King Parrot by its large size, long tail, green head, breast, tail and upperparts; red underparts and very small pale shoulder patch.
