We can ID this bird as a Fiji Parrotfinch by its green upperparts, blue-green underparts, scarlet face and crown and red rump and tail. The Fiji Parrotfinch is endemic to Fiji and is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 592.

COMMON MYNAS, NADI, FIJI
We first saw the Common Myna in southern Africa and then we again saw it today in Nadi. It seems to be the most common bird in Nadi. The first photo was taken from the taxi taking us from the airport to Westin Denarau Resort. The other photos were taken at thc Westin Denarau Resort.

HERONS, IBIS & EGRET, GREEN CAY WETLANDS, BOYNTON BEACH, FL
A Little Blue Heron is on the left, a White Ibis in the center, a Great Egret at the upper right and a Tricolored Heron at the lower right.
