VIOLACEOUS EUPHONIAS, ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTRE, ARIMA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
The first two photos are of a male Violaceous Euphonia and the last two of a female. We can ID the male Violaceous Euphonia by its head and upperparts being black glossed with blue and forehead and underparts being golden yellow. The female is olive green above and yellowish olive below.
The Violaceous Euphonia is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 542.
