   This flock of Wild Turkeys consisted of thirteen turkeys, four adults and nine juveniles.  They are not all shown in the photos.

FEMALE BELTED KINGFISHER, LAKE WILCOX FISH & WILDLIFE REFUGE, RICHMOND HILL, ON

   We can ID this Belted Kingfisher as a female by the the rufous color across the breast and on the flanks.

BREEDING MALE AMERICAN GOLDFINCH, LAKE WILCOX FISH & WILDLIFE REFUGE, RICHMOND HILL, ON

EASTERN KINGBIRD, LAKE WILCOX FISH & WILDLIFE REFUGE, RICHMOND HILL, ON

   We can ID this bird as an Eastern Kingbird by its black hood, white-tipped tail and gray on sides of breast.
