The hummingbird is silueted and thus we can't make out its colors, however it was visually identified as a Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

JUVENILE PIPING PLOVER, BEACH, DARLINGTON PROVINCIAL PARK, OSHAWA, ON
Piping Plovers are an endangered species, so their breeding area on the beach at Darlington Provincial Park has been roped off. We can ID this Piping Plover as a juvenile by its black bill and not having a fully formed breast band.
