BREEDING COMMON TERNS & A FISH, STORMWATER TREATMENT PONDS, BLUFFER'S PARK, TORONTO, ON

We can ID these terns as Common Terns in breeding plumage by their size (they were considerably smaller than Ring-billed Gulls near them), gray primaries and reddish bills with black tip.
The tern in the last photo was sunning itself on the rail when the other tern showed up with the fish in its mouth.  It seemed to show the fish to the other tern and then it flew away.  The original tern just stayed there while we were there.
