   The Inca Dove is a new species to our Life List, which now stsnds at 216.

   The Toucan in the cage was injured and can't be released to the wild.  The Jaguars were saved from being shot by farmers and ranchers whom they were raiding.  The donkey's name is Rabbit.

   The Crimson-fronted Parakeet is a new species to our Life List, which now stands at 215.


FEEDING THE MACAWS & JUVENILE MACAW, ALVARO OTOYA FARM, RIO CUARTO, GRECIA, ALAJUELA, COSTA RICA

   The Macaws at the Oyoya farm are not afraid of humans.  They will take food from
 your hand and from your mouth.  We feed them peanuts and pineapple.  In the photos you can see us feeding them.  The last two photos are of a juvenile hybrid Macaw that is about 3 months old.
