GULLS AT GOAT ISLAND - NIAGARA FALLS
Goat Island is between the small Bridal Veil Falls and the large Horshoe Falls of Niagara Falls. The cliffs, waters edge and Niagara River of Goat Island are a hotspot for gulls. The only gulls I could identify were Ring-billed Gulls; there were thousands of them. In addition to the gulls, there were a few Double-crested Cormorants. These are the larger dark birds in the second photo below.
The first photo shows one of the Maid of the Mist boats on its way to Horseshoe Falls. All the white specks in back of it are gulls.
