MALE WESTERN SPINDALIS, EL CEDRAL (PUEBLO), COZUMEL, QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO, 12/10/2024 - NEW SPECIES TO LIFE LIST

   We can ID this bird as a male Western Spindalis as follows:

• Black and white horizontally striped head
• Black and white wings
• Yellow orange central throat
• Chestnut and yellow chestband
• Black tail with white outer edges
• Dark gray legs

   The Western Spindalis is a new species to our ebird Photographic Life List.
