ADULT TRICOLORED HERON & A TRICOLORED HERON MOLTING FROM JUVENILE TO ADULT, NAPLES BOTANICAL GARDEN, NAPLES, FLORIDA, 12/24/2024

   The first photo shows an adult Tricolored Heron.  In the second photo, the Tricolored Heron is molting from juvenile plumage to adult plumage.  Juvenile Tricolored Herons slowly molt into an adult plumage over the course of the first winter.
