NORTHERN FULMARS, ARNARSTOPI, VESTURLAND, ICELAND - NEW SPECIES TO OUR LIFE LIST

   We can ID this bird as a Northern Fulmar (Light Morph) as follows:

• Gull-like seabird with thick neck
• White head & body
• Wings are gray with white patches
• Black eyes
• Short, stout, grayish bill with yellow, hooked "tubenose' nostrils at top of the bill.  You can see the hook the best in the third photo.

      The Northern Fulmar is a new species to our ebird Photographic Life List, Our ebird Life List now stands at 1,141.
