THICK-BILLED KINGBIRD, RANCHITO RD, JALISCO, MEXICO, 12/15/2023 - NEW LIFE SPECIES

   We can ID this tyrant flycatcher as a Thick-billed Kingbird as follows:

• Dark, thick bill
• Gray head
• White throat
• White breast and yellow belly and undertail coverts
• Grayish tail
• As much as we can see of the underparts is grayish-brown

   The Thick-billed Kingbird is a new species to our ebird Photographic Life List.  The ebird Life List now stands at 1,092.
