   We can ID this raptor as a male Hook-billed Kite as follows:

• Very large, hooked bill
• Pale iris
• Yellow-orange legs
• Greenish-yellow cere and lore
• Dark gray underpants with horizontal whitish streaks
• Lighter gray throat

   The Hook-billed Kite is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 1,050.
