We can ID this Wood Warbler as a Louisiana Waterthrush as follows:
- White throat with no streaks. You can see this in the first photo. This differentiates the Louisiana Waterthrush from the Northern Waterthrush, whose throat is streaked.
- Broad, white supercilium
- White underparts with streaks and white undertail coverts
- Crown, tail and upperparts brownish
The Louisiana Waterthrush is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 1,059.
