EUROPEAN STARLINGS STARTING TO MOLT INTO BREEDING PLUMAGE, FROG POND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA-LUCKY HAMMOCK, HOMESTEAD, FLORIDA, 12/19/2021

   Both adult European Starlings have have just started to molt from nonbreeding plumage to breeding plumage.  The bill in the starling of the first two photos has turned from being all black to yellow and black. The bill in the starling of the third photo has turned almost completely yellow.
