CEDAR WAXWINGS IN FLIGHT JUST ABOVE POND, FORAGING FOR INSECTS, REESOR POND,MARKHAM,ONTARIO, 7/14/2020

   Cedar Waxwings eat berries and sugary-fruits year-round, but during breeding season (from end of spring to late summer) insects become an important part of their diet.  They sometimes fly over water to catch insects, such as these Cedar Waxwings are doing.
