SWAMP SPARROW ON COTTONTAIL, SEDGE WREN MARSH,WYLIE RD,CARDEN ALVAR,KIRKFIELD,KAWARTHA LAKES,ONTARIO, 6/6/2020

   We can ID this Sparrow as a Swamp Sparrow as follows:

• Gray face with a rusty cap, dark triangular patch behind eye and pale eyering
• Whitish throat bounded by dark line on sides
• Rusty upperparts
• Gray underparts
• Freshwater wetland habitat

   The Swamp Sparrow is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 985.
