SPOTTED FLYCATCHER, SCHINIAS NATIONAL PARK,MARATHON,ATTICA REGION,GREECE, 10/10/2019

  We can ID this bird as a Spotted Flycatcher as follows:  
  • Whitish below with dusky streaking on throat and breast
  • Brownish face and crown with streaks on crown, dark eye and weak eyering  
  • Small, broad black bill  
  • The small amount we can see of the wings is brown
  • Brown tail    

   The Spotted Flycatcher is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 977.
