LITTLE OWL, LISBON REGION,PORTUGAL, 9/29/2019

   We can ID this owl as a Little Owl as follows:

• Small size
• Mostly dark brown plumage with cream markings all over the entire body
• Iris is bright yellow
• Cream eyebrows
• Dark cere (skin above the bill)
• Yellowish-gray bill

   The Little Owl is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 947.
