We can ID this warbler as a Nashville Warbler as follows:
- Small size
- Thin pointed dark bill
- Gray head
- White eyering (as much as we can see of it)
- Yellowish underparts
- Merlin photo bird ID app identified this bird as a Nashville Warbler, with no other alternatives
The Nashville Warbler is a small bird, about 4 1/2". It winters primarily in central and southern Mexico. Males and females do not differ significantly in their plumage and males do not go through a major color change in the nonbreeding season.
