We can ID this bird as a female Red-capped Manakin as follows:
- Olive green above, with more yellow-green underparts
- Short, pinkish bill, wide at base
- Chubby body and small size, about 4"
- Short tail
- Large eye
The Red-capped Manakin is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 898.
