COLLARED ARACARI (PTEROGLOSSUS TORQUATUS), LA MESA RD,EL VALLE DE ANTON,COCLE PROVINCE,PANAMA, 5/24/2019

   We can ID this Toucan as a Collared Aracari as follows:

• Blackish band across yellow underparts.  The yellow breast has a red wash.
• Black head with yellow eyes
• Black upperparts
• Upper mandible of bill is dull yellow, marked with a black saw-tooth pattern
• Lower mandible of bill is black

      The Collared Aracari is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 864.
