      We can ID this bird as a Bay Wren as follows:

• Mostly black head with white and black face markings
• White throat 
• Rich rufous upperparts 
• Rufous underparts
• Dark baring on flanks and lower upperparts

      The Bay Wren is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 858.
