We can ID this woodcreeper as a Ivory-billed Woodcreeper as follows:
- Long, stout, pale pinkish (you can see this in first photo), slightly downcurved bill. The pale pinkish bill differentiates this woodcreeper from the similar Cocoa Woodcreeper, which has a darker bill. The stout bill differentiates this woodcreeper from the similar Streak-headed Woodcreeper, which has a slender bill.
- Overall brownish/rufous color with bold, whitish and pale streaks on head, back and underparts
- Whitish throat and eyebrow
The Ivory-billed Woodcreeper is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 828.
