BLACK-TAILED NATIVE-HEN, WESTERN TREATMENT PLANT, WERRIBEE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA

   We can ID this rail  as a Black-tailed Native-hen by its large size, bright orange eyes, green frontal shield and upper mandible, red lower mandible, bright pink legs, brownish-grey upperparts and white spots on flank.
   The Black-tailed Native-hen is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 667.
