BREEDING AUSTRALASIAN GREBE, HACKING RIVER, ROYAL NATIONAL PARK, AUDLEY, NSW, AUSTRALIA

      We can ID this grebe as a breeding Australasian Grebe by its yellow eye, yellowish facial spot, grey-brown above and patch of chestnut from the eye back to the sides of the neck and head.
   The Australasian Grebe is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 622.
