BLUE-BACKED MANAKIN, TOBAGO MAIN RIDGE FOREST PRESERVE, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
We can ID this bird as a male Blue-backed Manakin by its generally black color with a scarlet V-shaped patch on crown and a sky blue mantle.
The Blue-backed Manakin is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 589a.
