The first two photos show an adult male Lesser Kestrel and the third photo shows a juvrnile male. We can ID the adult male by its plain grey head, face and nape; plain rufous back; plain grey greater coverts and plain buff underparts. We can ID the Lesser Kestrel in the third photo as a juvenile male by its barring on the back, white eye patches and malar stripe.
The Lesser Kestrel is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 443.
