FEMALE PIED KINGFISHER, ZAMBEZI RIVER, LIVINGSTONE, ZAMBIA

   We can ID this kingfisher as a female Pied Kingfisher by its black and white plumage, very long bill and single breast band (female).
   The Pied Kingfisher is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 361.
