MALE BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER, PRINCE EDWARD POINT NATIONAL WILDLIFE AREA, MILFORD, ON

   We can ID this warbler as a male Blackburnian Warbler as follows:
  • Orange throat and upper breast.
  • White wing panel.
  • Sides of neck, eyestripe and line on forecrown are yellow-orange.
  • Eye-arc under eye is yellow-orange.
   The Blackburnian Warbler is a new species to our Life List, which now stands at 298.
