We were able to ID this hawk as a Cooper's Hawk (rather than a Sharp-shinned Hawk) by its size and long tail.

We can ID this bird as a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher by its long black and white tail, pale blue-gray back and white eye-ring.
EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE, FRITCHEY RD., NAPLES, FL
These doves can be identified as Eurasian Collared Doves by their prominent dark neck-rings and their dark primaries.

We can identify this warbler as a Yellow-rumped Warbler by the yellow on its flank, its brownish color (on winter bird), pale throat and streaked breast. In this view we cannot see the yellow rump.

This bird can be identified as a Gray Catbird by its overall gray plumage, its black cap and its blackish tail.

We can ID this woodpecker as a Downy Woodpecker, rather than a Hairy Woodpecker, by its relatively small bill.

PURPLE GALLINULE, POND IN WESTON, FL
This pond is at the NE corner of the intersection of Weston Rd. and Royal Palm Blvd. in Weston, FL. It is behind the strip mall which contains Flannigan's restaurant.
