CHIPPING SPARROW WITH DINNER, THORNHILL, ON

   This Chipping Sparrow was identified as follows:

• Rufous crown
• Dark eye-line
• Whitish below with no streaks

   We think the sparrow has caught a Praying Mantis.  This is a new species for our Life List, which now stands at 138.
