Recently received Certificates of Appreciation from the USGS/Canadian Wildlife Service for reporting tagged Trumpeter Swans to the USGS Bird Banding Laboratory. This can be easily done online and I believe is a worthwhile endeavor. Below are photos of the tagged Trumpeter Swans and the certificates.
The Trumpeter Swan sighted on May 7 was sighted at the beach at Bluffers Park in Scarborough Bluffs (Toronto), ON. The one sighted on May 22 was seen along the Grindstone Marshes Trail at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, ON.
