Today Sharon and I took Kenya for a walk in Lake Wilcox Park in Richmond Hill, ON. The park has been around a long time, but had recently been modernized. Construction is still ongoing, but what had been completed is great. There are plenty of benches, vieeing areas of the lake and magnificent metal scultures of animals, including many birds.
We sighted and photographed the following birds :
- Tree Swallow
- Eastern Kingbird
- Cedar Waxwing
- Female Red-winged Blackbird
- Mallards
- Ring-billed Gulls
The Eastern Kingbird was a first for us, so we added it to our Life List, which now stands at 128.
