BIRDING AT CITY PIER AT CRAYTON COVE: LAUGHING GULL, BROWN PELICAN & SNOWY EGRET

   Yesterday after Eagle Lakes Community Park we went to the City Pier in Crayton Cove in Naples.  This is a good location to view Brown Pelicans, gulls and other birds.  Here are some photos:

• Laughing Gull in mostly breeding plumage.  The gull has a black hood and a bill that is starting to turn red at the end.  Compare to the nonbreeding Laughing Gull in the next photo.
